Why it's Good to Live in Oakland, CA

Living in Oakland, CA, is a good place to live for many reasons. Some of these reasons are the cost of living, education, and social factors. The cost of living is an important thing to think about when picking a new place to live. Oakland has a lower cost of living than the national rate and most other cities in California. On a state and federal level, some places can be more expensive than others, but the average cost of living for utilities, groceries, health care, transportation, and other goods and services is less. Then, the education in Oakland is a big plus and something to consider if you're considering moving here. Lastly, the social factors. A study of how population density affects quality of life found that a better quality of life was linked to a higher population density. People who live in cities with high population densities tend to have higher life quality scores than those who live in cities with low population densities. This shows how good life is in cities like Oakland, CA. The Alice House Apartment is a great community choice if you're trying to move here.

A Shootout Between Two Cars in Oakland

The police are investigating a shootout between two cars in Oakland Wednesday afternoon. Because of the shootout that happened, the police officers are on the scene at Martin Luther King Jr. Way and 47th Street. There's no word yet nor announcement on whether anyone was hurt or if police have detained any suspects. This shootout that happened is still under investigation, and no other information has yet been released by the police. I hope that this won't happen again because it worries me to think about other people in the area. What if somebody gets shots because they are around the area. They'll become victims. It's important that we extend our patience to avoid any problem on the road since it's very risky. Read more.
